About Us
Prestige Consulting Group was founded by Robert Terry Bolar in Atlanta Georgia. He is a known innovator in contract negotiation and since 1992 he has represented an average of two first round NFL draft picks per year. In fact, Terry was ranked in the top ten of all agents for the 2001 NFL draft and his firm was the number one minority-owned firm, according to an article by Len Pasquarelli on CBSsportline.com
Born and raised in Daphne, Alabama; Terry was an all-state football player, and in 1996 he was inducted into the Alabama High School Hall of Fame. He then went on to play college ball at California State Long Beach where he excelled both athletically and academically.
From 1981- 83 Terry played with the New York Jets and San Diego Chargers. However, he realized his talents were more valuable negotiating in the front office. Terry was an immediate success in the sports agent industry by recruiting players and building several prominent agencies before founding Prestige Sports.
His intense client focus resulted in his firm being ranked a top 10 minority-owned sports agency. For the past several years, Terry has been preparing concussion settlement cases for retired players. Terry is a known innovator in contract negotiation and for a decade has represented an average of two first round NFL draft picks per year.
Terry maintains a highly regarded reputation throughout the NFL and is retiring to his sports agency roots with the launch of Prestige Consulting Group. As an advocate for players and their families, his goal is provide opportunities for growth to players beyond the game. Through his network of industry professional services designed to provide quality services, his vision is to help players get the support and resources needed to ensure better health, wealth and the opportunity to leave a legacy for their family.
